I Pour the Drink of Stars,

by J. W. Cassandra

This poem of mine is the second poem of the Book of Stars cycle of Eternity, Awaken to Consciousness, volume I. It tells about the being who has arrived in this world across the light years of nebulae, and sets to distant worlds. He carries primeval times, his mystical figure forecasts the law and he fills his golden goblet with blood of stars. The subject of the poem is not identical to me.

Behold, I am otherworldly,
From beyond the stars as I was coming,
A veil of stars descended:
I came from a distant soul journey.

I cannot find my place here on Earth,
I listen to the sighs of the worlds,
I do not give my blood, I fill from stars
My golden goblet of sparkling drink.

I came in the light years of nebulae;
Blood of stars falls from me to the ground,
Distant worlds call me – their words are before me
Law –their blood extincts sparkling

In the trembling mirror of the lake dripping,
My walking stick slips, stumbles,
My primordial time is hesitantly chipped out,
A nebula arch flies away – everything passes...
