"Immortal Sorrow" is the tenth poem of the Book of Stars cycle of my first volume, Eternity Awakened to Self-Awareness. The poem tells of the meeting of the sea and the sky, the light of the sea in which the colourful world is created. A sea of light, cities of light, glittering dreams paint this world, which moves upwards with purifying water, where the stars tremble and the veil of the sky splits. The waves of the sea nurse the stars of the sky, this is the star-water of the earth. The nebula, in the cloak of immortal sorrow, hides the secret of heaven.

Where sea and sky meet each other,
A light flashes at the very edge of the horizon.
The sky contemplates itself in the sea in this light,
In this light, a diverse world is coming to life.

The radial sun rises in the diving sky,
It runs away, it glows up on the sea of lights...
Cities of light leap from waves to the sky,
Glittering dreams fall on the surface of the sea...

Where the water of the sea meets the sky,
The star trembles, the drape splits, flood of light,
Sound explosion mixed with glowing air
Travel to the upper sky with purifying water,

The foam of the sea smooths on its endless waves
To nurse the stars of heaven on its back.
The star-water of the Earth is a shining sea current,
Nebulae of skies – immortal sorrow...
