Masquerade of Cycle of Existence,

by J. W. Cassandra

The stories in the collection of short stories flash the various segments of the cycle of existence. It can all seem like a huge masquerade ball, where some people dance and have fun, while others experience the depths of suffering. I have already shared some of the stories in the book on the www.updivine.com site. Now I will share that stories only which I find worthy of it. There will be short novels you may find familiar, and there will be others that have not yet come out of my hands. The book begins with an overture, which I will share.  Then come the short stories.

Motto:

If you have nothing but your dreams, then pen them: writing is the magic itself that helps the dreams and
 miracles to come true.

Overture

by J. W. Cassandra

Whoever enters into existence, in one way or another, puts on a mask and performs at least one dance, and then, as soon as the waltz ends, he takes off his mask and robe and disappears from the whirlwind of existence, away from the masquerade ball. There are those who change their robes and masks as soon as the last chords of the waltz fall silent, and after the intermission they throw themselves into the whirlwind of the dancers with renewed strength. And so it goes on until the conductor beckons, and the robe and mask are finally removed – then each one's own true face shines brighter than bright: the Soul, who once put on a robe for the masquerade ball and hid her true identity.

In this manner these few short stories form a dance garland, the dancers of the waltz are all souls hidden behind so many masks, who, taking off their robes and masks, disappear from the ballroom as one when the final notes of the waltz fade in the Infinite. But for those who still hear the music, feel the rhythm, admire the colourful whirlwind, believe the lying smiles, tears and grimaces of the masks, I show you up a lying or true ball gown or mask in this collection of short stories: let everyone decide for themselves what to do with it!

Because beyond the whirlwind of existence, beyond masquerade balls, masquerades and ball colours, Reality lights up like the sun. And the waltz that once called us to dance is fading ever softer until only its memory remains, then it also vanishes, and the naked Truth remains.
