Pour Starwater!

The poem belongs to my first volume, Eternity Awakened to Self-Consciousness, and is the fifth poem in the first cycle called Book of Stars. On the one hand, the call in the title continues, and on the other hand, it unfolds the concept of starwater and dresses the goal in a mystical cloak. The figure of Aquarius also enriches and nuances the layers of meaning in the poem with the zodiac symbol. In addition to imperative sentences, its alliterations draw attention to the fact that the figure addressed in the poem, the reader, has to act in order to rise to the height of star swarm and to reach mysticism itself: the home of the Primordial Light.

The poem is loosely connected to the previous poems of the cycle, and at the same time it points forward to the other pieces of the cycle, which together form a kind of arch.

Look up at the sky,
The light of the night sparks
Observe with humility!
Carve brightness on your stick,

What sets forth to a journey
Wish chasing, in your hand,
What does instill in your soul
A sparkling host of stars.

Revealing their veils
You find an avenue of rays.
You never step higher,
If you do not tread on star ladder!

Climbing a star ladder
More higher and higher,
Pour the starwater
On Aquarius figure!

Pour the starwater
Into your chipped cup,
Take me on host of stars
To the land of prime light...
