The Dragon's Dance is the fourth poem of the cycle entitled "The Firestorm of Creation", from my poetry book one, entitled "Eternity Awaken to Self-Consciousness". It tells about the dragon's might, its magical power, and its duel with the fairy. It describes how he masks himself, and how he disguises himself as a fairy, and how he can master everything with raging power. His enormous passion and power are framed and mitigated by the form of the poem: his outburst of anger is restrained by the sonnet.

The fairy appears here through the dragon: it can only be seen to the extent that the dragon uses the fairy's charm in addition to its own strength to triumph over everything. Yet we can see in it a cosmic dance of one of the creative forces, which unfolds from the aforementioned duel.

The Dragon bewitches with raging power,
Draws strength from fairy charm and magic
Power: while his stunning dance
His feet, disguised as a fairy, are dancing,

The dragon's claw tears a wound in your throat,
He strikes you with his paws, while fascinating,
His flame burns to ashes, and while his eyes
Reflect a charm, through his thousand eyes

Flashes his true face, essence, core:
He consumes you, your world, with a wild temper.
Escape is hindered by the fairy spell:

You do not take control of his magical power.
With furious force, the Dragon dances his wild
Fairy dance, his power perishing: intrigue.
