A Subverted Form of Life,
by J. W. Cassandra

"A Subverted Form of Life": This poem is the opening poem of the cycle "The Trap of Entering Existence". It is a short poem, yet dense and has a philosophical aspect, the rhythm of which is irregular, yet taut, thanks to the short lines.
The title in English depicts a strong, in mood a weird fiction and sci-fi, and philosophical poem. In it, the motif of the "loop" is repeated in the irregular length of the lines. They altogether imitate the closing of the trap.
One wrong move, one wrong step is enough, and the trap will not open until the end of eternity. But let the poem itself speak for me! I hope you will like it as well, as it makes you think!
Time casts a ripple,
forming a loop –
watch where you step:
the loop is a subverted
form of life – you step,
'nd will be its captive
forever!
