After my cycle entitled "Mystery of Moonbeam Path", I will again introduce you to a poem related to the Moon. The Moonbeam Path is closed, and its mystical atmosphere appears in the pictures, which paint the absence. Nothing that had hitherto curved with a silver melody sounded anymore, nothing that had hitherto shed a silvery light at the wanderer's feet was seen anymore.

My new poem "Withered Moon" shows the Magician's incessant expectation in a raw, visionary form. I also tried to reproduce the work's dark, heavy pulse in English: this is how the English translation "Withered Moon" was born, faithfully preserving the original imagery and dense atmosphere.

Are the petals of the secret perhaps hiding the new moonbeam path? If you read it, you will have the key to the mystery in your hands.

Withered Orb rolls about
Upon the night sky's path,
No star's song ever sings,
Her secret sits in her well, deep.

The withered Orb does not shine,
She unfolds no more paths:
Beyond the tempest of Time
The Magus waits incessant.

Withered Moon clangs
Upon the night sky's path,
Your heart is only pounding:
The Magus waits only for you!

The Moon is waning, the pathways close –
But you alone possess the key!
Pluck the petals of the secret –
Reveal the moonbeam path!
